We chat about Howard’s first career as an opthamologist and how the change to photography in mid life came about. It was around the age of 54 when Howard’s wife Beverly suggested they move to New York and try photography full time.
Howard gives some gems on editing and what he feels is necessary for a photographer to show their best work. We also talk about dancers, boxing and how he overcame so many obstacles in creating his iconic underwater series with dancers.
